Vancouver Aquarium – A row of chrysalises in the Amazonian exhibit.
Vancouver Aquarium – an onlooker studies these gorgeous sea creatures.
Skiing at Whistler-Blackcomb up in Canada. This was my first time on skis, and I couldn’t get over how amazing the experience was. This was just a little snapshot of riding back up the ridge.
Andrew and our dog, Jeep, as we drove across the country from Kansas to Pennsylvania. The rapt attention on both of their faces makes me laugh every time.
This was taken while we were hiking in the Valley of the Giants around Lake Quinault. We were on a trail that featured some of the oldest living specimens of different trees. It was incredibly beautiful.
Lake Quinault Lodge – a view from the lodge’s private beach. It was such a wonderful spot, and the lodge was amazing.
I can’t remember what beach we stopped at, but this photo is taken along the Olympic Peninsula. When we arrived, I found this grouping of rocks. I have no clue as to the significance of the arrangement, but I found the composition to be incredibly interesting.
The infamous gum wall in Seattle, WA. I can still smell the stale juicy fruit.!
While I was bouncing around London, I noticed that many of the street lamps and signs had additional details like this. I loved the action of the double decker bus whooshing by in the background.
Tower of London – as I was touring one of the buildings, I peeked out this window and found a small garden. From the ground/outside of the building, I couldn’t find a way to actually access the garden, but I loved this image.
The White Tower at the Tower of London, reflected in a nearby window. This now just struck me as interesting.
Stratford Upon Avon, Holy Trinity Church – burial place of Shakespeare. We arrived at the church after a sudden downpour, and when we emerged an hour later, all of this was happening.
